In 1998 Jim attended a breed seminar in Princeton, NJ to participate in a presentation for AKC judges. As a result, an editor from TFH Publications approached him about writing a book about the breed. Thus, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog: A Complete and Reliable Handbook was born.
